Top Dental Implant Paradigm Brings Life-Changing Results to Teeth Tomorrow® Long Island Patient

The six practice locations of Sachem Dental Group began providing the Teeth Tomorrow® full-arch Prettau® Zirconia bridge earlier this year. The Teeth Tomorrow® process, combined with superior lab-processed provisional, and final Prettau® Zirconia prosthesis have already put an end to the lifetime of dental issues suffered one Long Island Firefighter.

“This patient came to us with hopeless upper dentition”, says Dr. Louis Woolf – Partner at Sachem Dental. “On a Fireman’s salary, he had come up with enough money for Four Implants, and a removable ‘locator’ upper prosthesis.”

Dr. Woolf knew that this patient was not happy about the prospect of removable teeth, and after meeting Dr. Michael Tischler (Founder of the Teeth Tomorrow Network), he realized that with two additional implants, he could provide a permanent, screw-retained, full-arch restoration.

“The patient was depressed about the state of his dentition”, Dr. Woolf continues, “and when he heard there was an alternative to a removable prosthesis, his eyes lit up! He was especially excited that he would never be wearing anything removable again.”

The preliminary workup included extraction of the patient’s remaining upper teeth, and placement of 6 anterior implants. Following the Teeth Tomorrow® Protocol, the patient was provided with a Lab-Processed Fixed-Provisional on the following afternoon.

Teeth Tomorrow® dental prosthetics are constructed using 3D dental imaging, customized for each patient’s unique smile. Each Lab-Processed provisional provides patients with a level of comfort and durability not available from chair-side devices. The final Prettau® Zirconia Bridge is a one-piece, non-porous, chip and stain resistant device, hand painted to create an individualized, natural look.

Two months after this procedure, the patient is thriving. He is pain free, and smiling. The provisional bridge will remain in place while small adjustments are made in preparation for the final, permanent Prettau® Zirconia bridge in 4 to 5 months.

“My patient is thrilled, and so is his wife,” says Dr. Woolf. “She now has a husband with no periodontal problems or the bad breath associated with them. We changed this patient’s entire outlook on life. He went from feeling hopeless and depressed about his teeth, to feeling prideful and optimistic about his future. You should see his smile when he comes to the office! He hugs me.”
